Hi OH Family! I'm just checking in. I'm home and taking it easy. I must admit that the whole procedure happened before I knew it! I had to be at the hospital for 6am yesterday morning. I even drove myself to the hospital. When the lady called my name, I almost bolted out of there! And telling my parents goodbye... Man, I teared up big time! It was GAME TIME! Either get sleeved or go home! Well, I am proud to say that I AM SLEEVED!! I still can't believe it! It's so unreal for me!! I'm on the loser's bench now!!! Yay!!!

The worst feeling? THE GAS! OMG! I thought I was having a heart attack! It was bad! But I walked and sipped and rested! Boy did I rest! LOL

You all were so right! It really wasn't that bad! The worst was the gas pains when I woke up. After that, all was well! I just hope that it continues to go well from here!

I want to thank you all for your prayers and support! I am doing well and I hope to continue on this track!!

I love you all!!

I am so relived to hear from you!  I've checked your profile twice to see if you had updated!  I am so glad everything went well.  Congratulations!  Oh, and I remember the gas pains from when I had my gall bladder out--not fun at all.

So glad that you are doing well and happy to hear that you made it back home.  Just remember to get those fluids in and get some walking in, it helped me with all the gas!  Keep us posted and we've saved you a spot on the loser's bench.  Rock that new sleeve!

Dear Amanda,
So happy to hear you're doing ok and home from the hospital!! Get enough rest and spoil yourself!! As far as the gas pains...try Gas-x strips...they really help knock that gas down!

Big hugs to ya Sweety!
