So it has been 7 weeks since VSG. Here are my stats
Pounds lost: 35
Exercise: not doing so good since beginning a new job
Liquids: usually get 48+ oz. in daily
Vits: ok
Food: I need to plan better. I am getting tired of the same old stuff. Hopefully can take the time today and figure meals I can eat with my family.

I am very happy where I am. This week was the least amount lost in one week -1.2 lbs. but I began a new job and I am having a heck of a time figuring when I can exercise AND eat. There is no breakroom and no time to snack.

Anyone have a favorite food find?

But...drumroll please!!  I walked up Stone Mountain on Saturday!! 1.3 miles UP!! And of course down too!! It was brutal with the Georgia heat but I am so proud of myself. I just wi**** was a little closer where I could get a yearly pass and do it more often!!

I'm feeling great. I've moved to full solids with the exception of steak and pork. I'm scared they'll be too heavy for me just yet so I'm waiting a little longer to try them.

Pounds lost 27 (since Apr 24 - includes 3 day pre-op)
Exercise: went to the gym for the first time on the weekend and walked at a 2.7mph pace for 30 minutes. I felt good but my hips were a little sore when I was done. So far that's the only exercise I've done because I've been so exhausted. I plan to go back tomorrow
Liquids : I have good days and bad days. Easier to stay on track when I'm at work, weekends are a crap shoot usually.
Vits: take a multi vit, b12 subligual and a D3 liquid every day
Food: I feel like my life is an appetizer. I occasionally mourn the loss of being able to eat a regular meal like I would pre-op but I know that this is what's best for me. My mouth wants more but Sleevie says no way pretty darn quick.

Fav food find: deli meat (specifically mortadella) with low fat cream cheese spread on it and rolled up. nomtastic!

Congratulations on your climb up Stone Mountain!! I'm a veritable feast for mosquitos (and we have swarms here!) so I tend to do my working out indoors.

6 weeks today for me
Pounds lost: 59 total, 24 post-op (wonder if the new ticker will show - they've been acting up)
Exercise: very good now. Muscle spasms healed, walking 30 min 3-4 days, working out 2 days
Liquids: 64 oz clears plus 14 or so protein drink = 78 oz on average
Vits: check
Food: starting to eat with the family. This week: Lo carb breakfast casserole for dinner, salmon on the grill, turkey burgers. Overnight I cooked some dark meat chicken in the crock pot until falling apart & mixed sparingly with BBQ sauce. Tonight I'll bake. I'll have the meat, family will have BBQ chicken sandwiches. They'll probably add more BBQ sauce. I also set aside some chicken to mix with greek yogurt to make higher protein low fat chicken salad.

I've been a slow loser since surgery, but this week I lost 6 lbs. I think part of it might be that I'm getting more protein from food instead of drinking it. The rest may be that I've finally hit my clear liquids goal.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

It has been 4 weeks for me and I have lost 23 lbs since surgery and a total of 35 total. I am in love with chicken and salmon. I stick to basically meat and cheese with a little veggie and fruit. I love El Pollo chicken leg 90 cal. and $1. When I was on the road it saved me, and one leg is all you can do. I can do all my liquids ok. Vits... I now swallow my calcuim. yuk. Feel great and love the sleeve. Need more fiber tried chewable ones with no luck. So now I have a bowl of cearel but hate the carbs. So happy to be on this path.

Re: fiber. Do you like crackers? A little protein salad (tuna/chicken) on one of these will do ya. 7 carbs, of which 5 are fiber (that's right, 5 g of fiber in one 12 calorie cracker):

Congrats on the Hike! That is fantastic!

I had the surgery on April 27 and I weigh only on Wednesdays. I cannot wait for this Wed. Seems like time is crawling by. As of last Wed. I lost 27 lbs since surgery.

Excercise: Today I swam 14 laps. This is not something that I have gradually worked up to. I started swimming again last week. At my highest weight I could only swim 4 -6 laps. I swam 14 laps and I have gone up and down 2 flights of stairs doing laundry and with the cable guy a couple of times today and there will be more before the day is over.

Liquids. I don't count. I drink all the time.

Vits: I am pretty good. Feels like there is a lot tho!

Food: I am doing ok with food. I am due to shop. I found in the last week I missed taking the protein drink on a couple of occasions. My protein was 50 or so without it but I know I have to be diligent. They have so many calories! I want to plan them earlier in the day so i can work them off!

I don't really have a favorite food. I like most foods lol. Yesterday I made pesto turkey burgers with feta cheese. My daughter likes them too so I am not just cooking for myself. I have dabbled with soy products. They have a high amount of protein per serving. I have marinated chicken breast after cutting them into strips and cooked them on the grill. They cook quickly and stay moist. The problem with making things others like is that sometimes its hard to hold onto another small serving for myself!

Stalled since Tuesday, May 17th.  I did go off both blood pressure meds, one of which was a diuretic.  In the past, I would go up 3 pounds if I didn't take it.  So I've got that going for me.

26 pound weight loss, 16 since surgery.  Getting 60 to 65g protein and 64 oz water minimum.  I've got some low-carb protein recharge which has 2 g protein in every ounce (40g in a 20 oz bottle).  It tastes super artificially-sweet-strong, so I mix 2 oz in a 16 oz glass of water.

Taking Journey bariatric multivites, 3 capsules daily, calcium/vit D sup, plus sublingual B12 & Fe every other day.

Eating is really protein focused, with tiny bits of other stuff.  Last night for dinner: 1 ounce pork tenderloin, 2 small broccoli florets, 1 tbsp mashed potato.  Couldn't eat it all.  I usually have one protein shake a day, and one snack of cottage cheese and fresh berries.

Getting some kind of exercise daily, including walking, eliptical, biking, dancing, yoga.  After the 6-week-wait I'll add in weights.  This weekend my husband and I biked to Folklife in Seattle, and danced for two hours at the huge contra dance.  Then I had to bike home--uphill.  Don't YOU think I should have lost weight?  ME TOO.

 Way to go April Sleevers!
So for me it has been about 7 weeks i am down 60+ pounds (includes the 20lb pre-op loss so I guess about 40lb post op.... i really should figure it out I guess)
Exercise: Started going to the guym last week and can do 2 miles on the elliptical at running speed in my half hour session. I am pretty darm pleased with myself.
Liquids: rarely get in all that I should but it helps to change it up with a Sobee lean sometimes.
Vits: good getting in vitamin d, b12, biotin, ant acid (hallelujah), chewable children's from costco and the occasional stool softener...trust me its a must.
Food: So for the most part everything goes down well if it is something I should eat the only difficult things are the ones I shouldn't eat anyway...no M&Ms EVER.

I am very pleased with my progress I posted earlier that I now weigh less than my husband and earlier when I saw his jeans on the floor I slipped them on and comfortbly strolled out to show him that nothing is safe now!! Ha HA HA (evil laugh).
Favorite foods: greek yogurt and the seasoned turkey slices from Costco.

Wow, everyone seems to be doing pretty well! Glad to hear that!!
I just bought Weigh****chers Swiss cheese, it's like the laughing cow only it was cheaper and had a little less calories. I'm going to try that with eggs like Eggface does in a mug. I have a hard time getting a protein shake in in the morning.
My plans are to get up at 6 am, do my podrunner interval training outside for 25-30 min. Come in and take a shower and get almost ready, eat something. Get my husband to work and finish getting ready in the bathroom at his work. Whew!! I'm tired already. Those are my plans, didn't say it would work. We share 1 car, he has to be at work at 7:30, I have to be at work at 8:30, no sense in coming back home and wasting the gas. Fun, fun!! ha!
Let's see if my weightloss does better. I'm going to start tracking better too. I am definitely not complaining. Like I have said in previous posts, I will not complain. I am so thankful to have this tool, it sure helps doesn't it?!!!!
Just ate beans and cheese from taco bell, yummo!!!

Hey there!
Still doing good, and still losing at my own pace.. still not up to speed even on walking as I've been fighting my feet.. one trick ankle that went out again, then I hiked during a camping trick and must have been compensating so I gave myself a mild case of plantar fasciitis.. so I've been taping my foot up and resting it for the last couple days.. but I'm still losing, so that's good- right?! :)

I finally did the math, and figured my weekly losses- I was just doing daily weights and was ok with the numbers.. but the weeklies really show what's up.. posted it on my blog just so I can look at it when I need to! So far, just since surgery I have lost almost 22lbs. It's picked up the last few weeks too. :)

Approaching my TOM, and between the heat and salty dry BBQ pulled pork I'm up a lb since yesterday. I expect that's going to go up over the next three or 4 days. I love water weight, I swell if I so much as look at salt. The good news is, all my clothes are really loose- so I can still fit into everything when I'm retaining water!!
