April 2011 Sleevers: What's Happenin'?
Well, as of today, I've lost 25 lbs post op and I lost 25 lbs pre-op so that gives me a grand total of 50lbs lost this year! I feel GREAT about that.
I have noticed that since I've been tracking my calories with myfitnesspal, I've been doing better about meeting goals I've set for myself. I still need 2 more cups of water a day to get 64 oz and I'm working on that. No issues with vitamins and I'm walking 2 miles daily. I just bought Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and I'm going to use that in conjuction with pilates and walking for my fitness program. I really miss the gym, but I have a toddler who's 18 months old and I'm a single mom so the gym is out for right now.
I use myfitnesspal as my daily food planner so I pre-plug in things the day before so I can prep myself for the next day. This has helped me tremendously with staying on plan. I looked at my side profile in the mirror today and for the first time I REALLY could tell that I have lost a lot a weight.
OT: I cut my hair (it was very long) into a cute bob because I just wanted something very different. I feel like I look younger already. I love it :)
There's no stoping me now :)

Total pounds lost: 38.8 (my weigh in day is Thursday so I hope its over 40 now)
Vitamins: Multi, Calcium w/Mag, Vit D, CoQ10, Flaxseed, B12. I/ve been really good about taking them. I have one of those pill containers like little old ladies use with the daily slots. If I didn't, my pea brain wouldn't remember if I had taken them or not.
Exercise: Not much. Energy levels have been very low but is improving with the B12. I start a Couch to 5K tonight.
Liquids: Usually average 48 - 52 a day. Just can't seem to get that 64 oz in. However, with the heat and starting to exercise more, I hope to get more in.
Food: Hamburger is evil! Still avoiding carbs like the plague. Love, love, love cherry tomatoes, green onions---put them in just about everything! I am a cheeseaholic---BabyBel White Cheddar is my fav! Had my first salad this weekend. Just a few bites but it was great!
A recent food find is the Jack Link's Carne Seca Beef Jerky. Yummy!! I keep some in my purse in a baggy in the event I miss a meal or need a quick snack.
The libido came roaring back like crazy this week. My hubby is walking around with a silly grin on his face.
Not too shabby for an almost 50 yr old grandma that had her lady innards removed years ago.
Hoping to lose 50 lbs by my 50th birthday in about 3 weeks. Don't know if I'll make it but hopefully this C25K will help me sweat it off.
