submitted my doctor supervised weight loss paperwork...

So I guess I will know before long if I am approved or denied. I know yall dont know me well, but if you want to send postive thoughts, prayers...good juju my way I would be appreciative.

I will have this surgery one way or another. If need I will scrape my peanuts together and go to Mexico and have it done, but life would be a lot easier and less costly if insurance would cover it...and if they make me wait anther 6 months..I just CANNOT wait another 6 months....I am tired, I ache, and I just need this!

I'll say a prayer for you. Nothing to worry about if you followed the insurance co's guidelines. Keep us posted.

what worries me most is I was a 39.7 when I started the doctors supervised...I am now a 40bmi.....but I am afraid they will nitpick that ONE pound difference ya know??

Good luck, I know the feeling...thursday will be 2 weeks since I submitted paperwork...waiting for approval is killing me!!!

I totally understand where you are coming from. My last DR appt is on 06/09 and then I submit everything. I am closing the chapter on this portion of my journey. I am soooooo excited and ready to get the new chapter started. Congrats to you and I WILL see you on the losers bench soon! Peace and Blessing.

Prayers and good thoughtssent your way... i think waiting for the approval is the hardest thing. Makes me think the 2 week pre-op diet will be a piece of protein shake (lol). I have Cigna insurance and I called today to see it I could get preapproved. They aid no, but not to worry if I did the 6 month drs approved diet. No min. weight lose. Minimum BMI of 35-39 or more. I am at 42 so that good. I hope it doesn't take 2 weeks, I could not stand the wait....
