Calling April Sleevers !
I was sleeved 4/11/11, here are my stats. Please share yours and any foodie ideas, thanks so much!!
Wt. Loss Post op: 42
Liquid intake: pretty good, I get at least 48 oz. Need to step it up a bit!
Exercise: Lovin' Podrunner interval training. I am addicted. Never thought I would say that!! About to start some free weights to tone up my arms, shoulders and back.
Vites: Taking prenatal (not pregnant), flaxseed oil, Prilosec, Chewable calcium, chewable multi.
Food: Lovin' Eggface's Mug eggs for breakfast!
Tuna salad and Pork Rinds for lunch, yummy!!
Cheesesticks
Chicken Venezia tonight, new find, I"ll let you know how it goes.
We ate at Red Robin Saturday. My husband got his regular Royal Burger with egg on it, yuck! And you can add an extra patty for only $1.99. So that is all my meal cost, of course I couldn't eat it all and we were going to continue to shop and it was too hot in the car for me to leave it for leftovers
So my DH ate it for me. It was pretty good. I'm a cheap date for sure!!
Lovin' my sleeve!!
How is everyone else doing?

Weight Loss Post-Op: 31 pounds (total of 45lbs with pre-op diet)
Liquid Intake: At least 42 oz. High days tend to be over 90oz.
Exercise: Up on my feet all day at work, hit the gym 5x week (jogging, elliptical and free weights), nightly walk/run to the park with my nephew
Vitamins/Meds: bariatric advantage multi capsule, vit D., PPI, calcium chew, biotin, sublingual B12 twice a week.
Food: Hooked on beef jerky, babybel cheese and cocoa roasted almonds. every now and then i'll treat myself to 2 oz of OJ (50%less sugar)
I love my sleeve, most of my clothes no longer fit!!!! but i'm getting by; adding extra holes in belts and just dressing comfy for the approaching summer. weird how big my eyes are now since losing weight in the face and i actually have beautiful skin. I have to adjust everything since losing weight, like watches, bracelets, belts, even shoes just so things fit. I'm amazed because I think that 45lbs is so little weight on my large body, but apparently it is a lot. I see a future for myself and I cannot be any more happier than that. I'm truly blessed.
Hi there,
I am down 47lbs post op.
I get in64 oz of water a day, but really struggle with my protien. The shakes do not go down well, nor the shots. I try to get it in with food but really struggle.
I am embarassed to say but I do not do much exercising right now. A bit of walking and I am a clean freak lol so I am always cleening my house.
I use fitness pal to track all my food and exercise. It is a free user friendly site that keeps me on track of my protien/calories/fat/carb and water intake. It also has a great exercise/calorie burning tracking part that is awesome, I am going to start using the exercise part more :) If anyone wants to join find me on it HeidiRG. Anyways, it helps me out a lot.
For the first time in 5 years I went into a store that I wanted to go into, not because they have my size and I bought a dress in extra large!!! I cried in the changing room, I was scared to put it on, but I forced myself and it fit!!!!! And it looks good!
My life is beginning\!!!!!!

Weight Loss Post-Op: 25 pounds (total of 35 lbs with pre-op diet)
Liquid Intake: At least 64 oz
Protein: At least 60 on every day but 3 (my doctor wants me to get at least 60)
Exercise: Walking at least 30 minutes almost every single day. Starting today, I'm going to throw in some gym time. Today I did no walk but 33 minutes on the elliptical
Vitamins/Meds: Multivitamin
Food: Note, I'm still on soft foods till Friday. I like an omelette in the morning (1 egg, mushrooms if I have them, 1/8 cup shredded cheese). For lunch/dinner, I have 2 oz meat (Ground turkey, chicken breast, tuna, salmon, etc) and 1/4 cup veggie or soft fruit (if I have room). My doctor said I should have 3 meals a day, and 3 snacks of milk.
I'm doing great! I have energy, and really don't mind eating less than I used to :) I am able to comfortably go out to eat with others, and just eat my little 2 oz of protein and a veggie :) Unfortunately, I still have my hunger, and get hungry 2-4 hours after a meal. When I go to my doctor's appt this Friday, I'm going to see why exactly I can't have cheese or something instead of milk, in the midmorning and afternoon. I think I'd be more comfortable if I could have something solid as a snack around 10am and 3pm (note, I have breakfast around 6am, and lunch at noon).

I was sleeved on April 14th. I am down @ 25 lbs since surgery and @46 lbs since first appt. with the surgereon in March. I was doing really well with my water, protien, meds and vitamins unil Memorial Weekend....had a few days of not doing what I needed to...but seem to be back on track now :) I have been happy with my weight loss so far, but there is a part of me that is impatient and wants to be losing more...but then I tell myself that instant gratification was what got me fat in the first place and I need to enjoy the process. My surgeon told me today that the weightloss with the sleeve is like a staircase down....same weight for awhile, then a drop, same weight for a while, then a drop. It is not expected to be a sliding slope down. So I just need to relax and take the stairway down :)

Weight Loss Post-Op: 43 pounds (total of 83 lbs with pre-op diet)
Liquid Intake: At least 46 oz. Thanks to the giant jug JennChap got me!
Protein: I try to get 70-80 grams a day if possible. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I go through those premier protein shakes like nobody's business!
Exercise: I ride my bike to work during the week. It's 10 miles total a day. I try to walk on the weekends or just get out and about but somedays I just sit and watch tv.
Vitamins/Meds: I take on multivitamin a day, prevacid, gall bladder medication and uric acid medication.
Food: Not much. Some days I don't eat. I stick to cottage cheese, tuna or chicken. Once in a while I'll splurge and eat a tiny bit of whatever my kids are eating. I'm hardly ever hungry and eating is kind of an annoyance.
Alcohol: I can't wait.

I have lost 40 lbs. since surgery
My exercise is walking. I'm trying to get my pool open so I can walk in it. My one knees is bad so exercise is a challenge.
I hate shakes and I also hate drinking milk.
So I do sugar free instant pudding. I put 2 cups of milk in a bowl and add 3 heaping scoops of vanilla protein powder to it. Then I whisk in good and add a package of pudding mix, any flavor you like. I seem to like butterscotch best. It will make 4 custard cups. I cover these with plastic wrap and refrigerate them, for at least one hr. You will have a good between meal snack that takes the place of a shake and you only have to eat about 1/2 cup to get 20 grams of protein. I sometimes do two a day.
Hello! I was sleeved 4/25/11, I have lost a total of 46 pounds, 20 since surgery (a bit disappointed in this low number, trying to get over it)
Liquids are good, my new fav find is 1/2 lemonade crystal lite and 1/2 iced tea, yumm! Decaf coffee, plain water, a little milk in my coffee.
Still doing one protein shake a day.
Protein, btwn 70-80 every day
Vitamins: Calcium/D3 twice daily, multi
Exercise, I just got a stationary bike, so have been riding ~12 miles a day, using circuit training at the gym/home 2-3 times a week, really trying to do some sort of activity EVERY day.
I need to work on veggies, I am so ready for a salad, but have to wait a bit longer....I have no desire for soggy veggies....
Favorite foods: ham and low fat veggie cream cheese roll ups, venison jerky, babybel cheese, just had shrimp ****tail last night- YUMM

I was sleeved on April 19th.
I have lost a total of 55 pounds (I can't remember where I was the day of surgery)
I have a hard time getting all of my liquids in.
I am getting at least 60g protein. Usually not much more.
I try to walk every day and have started Curves and Zumba and some light weights at home for my arms.
I went through a bit of depression at first but I seem to be getting over that and so far I am happy with my decision.
