I returned to work today--I was lucky enough to have 6 weeks off.  I just started doing a little bicycling in the last 10 days or so, so I thought the Seattle hills would be tough today.  But no!  Even though my legs aren't as conditioned as usual, I had tons of energy, biked up the hill on pace with the spandex people, it was great.  I have been walking a lot, so maybe that helped.

I think having planned out food for the days will be conducive to weight loss; plus, drinking lots of water was easier.  The 40-minutes a day on a bike will help, too, I'm sure.  All in all, I'm feeling pretty happy!

Hope everything goes well at work for you. I also went on a bike ride this weekend, I was surprised at how I could keep up with my family. Glad to hear that everything is going well for you.
