MONDAY GRATEFUL POST
Happy 4th of July Everyone !!!
We all know that we are a blessed people !!!! We have independence from our bondage of being a morbidly obese person ( or we are seeking independence from a unhealthy lifestyle if pre op ). Independence Day is a very special day to us all in one way or another. I am SO GRATEFUL today not only for America's Independence but also for my independence from my former lifestyle. Cathy Wilson at OH says it wonderfully......".Liberty is the condition of being free from restriction or control; the condition of being free from confinement; and, the right and power to act, believe or express one’s self in a manner of one’s own choosing. Through your success from weight loss surgery, you are free to live on your own terms without the emotional and physical prison of being morbidly obese."
I am so grateful today for my family, friends, WLS, Independence in America and independence from the bonds of food in my life. PLEASE share with us what you are Grateful for today. I am also grateful for you. Please stay hydrated in the heat.

amen!! i'm so with you on this one. these same thoughts have been resonating my own head since waking up this morning. like you, i am thankful for the independence to be thin and healthy due to wls.
and, i wish i could've seen your tag line sooner about the conference in NOLA. i paid full price for both my daughter and myself. any chance you know if they'll retro that?
