MONDAY GRATEFUL POST

  Good Morning Everyone,

Hope everyone had a good weekend.   Mine was NOT good.  My 25 yr. old son met his birth Mom yesterday and it turned out really bad.   I was devastated for my son.   I love him with all my heart and to see him hurt so much from what he saw and heard from that woman....UGH I can't grasp it.   I wish I had just drove off when we saw her....but I didn't.    Needless to say.....I seriously doubt she will ever lay eyes on him again.    I was up most of the night dealing with my son's anger.   Please pray for him if you would.    I am sorry to be dumping this on ya'll.   I am usually so upbeat.   I am grateful to God though that this woman chose to give him up for adoption 25 yrs. ago.    I pray that he will look hard at her and see what her life choices have given her and he doesn't want to end up as she is.    SORRY everyone.    I am Grateful today for life, health, my WLS, my family and friends.    Grateful that God gives us second chances.....grateful for my 3 sons ( 2 are adopted ).   Grateful for being a MOM !!!   Please share with us what you are grateful for today.

Vivian, remind your son, being able to give birth or conceive a child does not a parent make. Because almost anyone can do that. But being a parent is a much more difficult task.
I have a few friends who have gone through this same experience and have had a mixed bag of emotions.  I hope your son can get past his anger, and be grateful she did give him life and that he luckily ended up in your arms.

 Thank you so much for your kind words.  You are too sweet.   I have reminded him of all this.   I told him that she ONLY donated the egg and give birth to him.    That is ALL !!!  I am and have always been his Mom and will be till the day I die.    Today has been somewhat better although we had LOTS of drama today too.     Hopefully soon things will return to normal or as normal as it can.

Grateful for your son to have had you to step in during his hour of need and for being such a wonderful inspirational mom.

 What a kind thing to say.   You guys are all blg blessings to me.   This has been so very hard emotionally and physically to me.   Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.   Today was not good to say the least but better than I expected.
