Well the wring loss isnn't impossible at all. I'm a fat guy living on 400 real calories a day. But I'm losing somewhere between 1.5 - 2.3 pounds a day! Every day I weigh on the scale, but I just can't quite believe it somehow. I'm putting in like one-quarter the effort I usually do when I "dieted" previousy in my life, and I would be lucky to lose a pound or two a WEEK.

I know this is normal, and mentally expected it, but it's still flooring me! And making me want to retrying clothing every two days, LOL

It's crazy, right?!  The journey is a wild ride, so hang on tight!  LOL  Enjoy your losses, take care of yourself, follow your program and you will see impressive and yes, unbelievable results.  I hope you feel this is the best thing you've ever done for yourself.  I know I do.
Best of luck and health!

Enjoy the rapid weight loss phase. It doesn't last forever. Eventually your body gets used to the lower calories and as your weight goes down the amount you need to maintain goes down too. Men seem to lose weight much quicker than women.

Hi Ruggie,

It is a terrific feeling.  Not to be a Debbie Downer, but some of what you are seeing is the water weight loss from the surgery itself.  Some people will lose tha****er weight and the number will then slow some but others continue on at a high rate.  I hope that is you that moves quickly and doesn't experience a stall for a long time to come.  Just do not let yourself be discouraged if it happens sooner than later.  I was 67.3BMI at start of this journey and hit a 32 day stall on day 11 post-op.  Dr. C was stunned and to this day does not understand why it happened.  My advice is to follow the plan to the "T" and not the let numbers on the scale have the power to mess with your head.  Your body will let go of the weight when it is good and ready and not a minute before.  As long as you follow the plan, you will get to goal on your body's clock.

Glad things are going good for you...keep up the good work.
