911! 4 months out and preggo.
Ahhh...People who live in glass houses....
I will NOT sit in judgement of anyone. Every single one of us have been in tight spots we either got ourselves into or pretended ignorance to lesson the blow of a mistake. Some of you assumed you knew enough about this poster to be her judge and jury.
Tausha, the very worst time of a situation is the "not knowing"! Educate yourself, take good care of yourself and your little miracle, and go see your OB/GYN. This might take a little more planning and caution but it certainly isn't insurmountable.
Blessings, Heidi

People can say whatever they want. I never claim to be perfect. If someone posts something like this, there is obviously going to be people with different responses to the topic. I am allowed to share my opinion. When you work so hard to have wls, you should be more careful. People get all pissy on here (understandably so) when people post topics about eating fast food, or drinking soda.. blah blah blah. Why? Because we had this surgery to change our lives!!! So if you are going to chastize people (which I have seen happen on here) about eating the wrong foods, why get all upset when someone voices their opinion about someone being less than careful and getting pregnant? Its the same thing!!!! PEOPLE HAVING MAJOR, LIFE CHANGING SURGERY AND THEN NOT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS! So dont give me that "people who live in glass houses" crap. That is not what this is about.

Yes, it isn't a good thing, the timing sucks, the situation sucks.. but have a little sympathy before you compare the rightness of ripping someone a new one for eating cheet-os vs a woman that has an untimely pregnancy! I'm not trying to start something with you, but there are times for an ass-chewing, like when you do something innocuous as eating a candy-bar vs ripping someone that is already pregnant, and is going to have to deal with this..

Considering your reproductive history, yes- I can understand why you would have a strong reaction.. and I'm not accusing you of being mean, just of not understanding how your words of hindsight could hurt at this time. Not every pregnancy is welcome, despite your feelings on that.. and it can screw up a person's life if it's not, or at the very least feel like it emotionally/physically/etc will for some time. An unplanned pregnancy (it doesn't matter if the person had a failed BC or not, the emotions are still the same!) is not always received as a gift... So yes, I understand your feelings, but I'd bet they are a 180 from the OP I'd imagine. I appreciate you explaining though, and I'm sure the OP does too.
You and your unborn are in my prayers!! God will not give you anything that you can't hadle. Stay positive, things happen, embrace it with open arms. It doesn't matter what others think. If they don't like it or they have a problem with it **** em. It's your body and your main concern just got redirected but that is ok. Try not to worry so much. Congrats!
Generally speaking, I would imagine you just eat more times in a day of higher, calorie healthy food (i.e. avocado, bananas, almond butter). You could eat something every 2 hrs while awake and you will probably get all of your calories and nutrients in. Oh, and take a high-quality prenatal vitamin. I recommend RAW prenatal from Garden of Life. It is made from real, raw food.
