Clear Protein Suggestions

I will ask my doctor for suggestions at my meeting with him next week, but I'm trying to find a list of clear (not milky) protein supplements for right after surgery.  I'm set on a supply of shakes that are milky but I have yet to find a decent CLEAR protein source.

Any suggestions?

I drank Mucle Milk Light ready to drink protein shake post-op. It's not clear but it was allowed and I did well with it.

Unjury has some clear protein shakes and powders. Check out the Vitamin Shoppe or GNC.

The only clear ones that I found were by ISOPURE.  They come in a bottle in several different flavors.  I did not like them at all but taste is very individual.  I bought the 4 flavors I tried at GNC.  Healthwise also makes some that you add water to and they are pretty thin, and tasted much better to me than the ISOPURE ones.

Hope this helps.

Chicken broth is what I went with for the week of clear liquids.  Not a whole lot of protein, but honestly I didn't worry about hitting protein goals until I started on a little more solid-y food.  I made it my main priority to stay hydrated ... and stay away from drinks with sugar and carbs.  There are some Crystal Light products with a little protein.  Also, sugar-free jello has some protein.  Then there are the Isopure products, and I remember "protein bullets," although I don't remember who makes them.  Other folks can chime in.  Good luck!

Unjury's chicken soup is very good to me. Also I had a sample pack of 13 flavors from Nectar Syntrax. Stuff like lemonade, cherry and other fruit flavors that you mix with water. That's what I used the first week out and they went down real good. To order the sample pack it's $13.00:

Phone: 866-333-7403 x 801

or check their website at syntrax.com for all their flavors.
