Now, did you know exactly what they require for surgery before they denied you? Make sure you know all the steps and write them down so you can answer them.
Also think of ALL the areas of your life your weight problem interferes with your health.
Breathe..breathe..breathe..aaahhh...
It WILL happen, but don't hold onto a certain date in mind..but the date GOD decides for you.
OH.. My ins denied EVERY single appt related to bariatric visits which is THEIR requirements. They even denied the surgeons initial consult appt cuz I didnt get authorization..what? How can he authorize anything when he never met me? It was a hassle to the point that I even added an extra dietician appt figuring they will still find another denial..and while checking on non pmt issues..they said.. Oh yeah.. your surgery is approved!!! I nearly had a heart attack !!! IT only took 9months of waiting for 6 month requirements LOL
