hypothyroidism
No! I am not trying to discourage you in any way! After being on this site every day for 5 months, it appears that I'm the exception, not the norm. Also, I was a revision from the lapband and I was warned I may lose slower than those who are "virgins" to WLS. But again, I may be the exception to this rule, too. Many revisions have got to goal in 6 months. :) So, your surgery should go great and don't worry too much about the thyroid issue. I should have gone to the doc 2 months ago instead of waiting.
I had hyperthyroidism or Graves Disease as well. It's been almost 15 years since I was diagnosed. They nuked my Thyroid with a little radioactive Iodine uptake. I have been on Levothyroxin since. I just had my 6 month check up with my PCP and he told me weight fluctuations don't mess with TSH levels, but he did a blood draw for it just in case. My numbers stayed identically the same. This is my second surgery since being diagnosed and there was never any complications due to the thyroid. I have never had eye issues.
