I always enjoy reading your posts... always informative!  Your pictures are absolutely inspirational.  You look incredible!  I'm sure you'll be at goal in no time.  I've been on a five week stall and I'm wondering if it maybe the cheese I've been eating as snacks.  I've been eating those individual snack sticks everyday but just once a day.  I'll try anything to get the scale moving... maybe give up cheese, which I thought was a great protein snack.

Thank you so much for the nice compliments!  For me I found that cheese and nuts did stall me.. but it's hard to say how much of it was the quantity that I found myself eating.  In any case I think that if you eat real lean dense protein with just a bit of green veggies as much as you can possibly stand, then you lose really fast.

At least this is the case for me.  So I just try to eat only that as much as I can so I can hurry up and get to goal.  I figure I can stand it for a while, and one day I'll be able to eat cheese again.. hopefully in moderation at that point.

Holy SCAT!  You know, I can see why you sometimes feel confused about where you fit into things and why mental challenges from this have been tough.  Its been only a year and you look NOTHING like the person who started this process, and it hasn't been such a long time that there could even be complete adaptation.

I understand the joy that comes with feeling more free - this happens long before goal even hits.

You have a compelling story and you look gorgeous!

Thank you so much!  I'm back on the dating scene and I still think of myself as overweight, so I tell the men that I meet online as much.  Then they see a picture and tell me I'm not that overweight.  Weird.. I still feel so fat.  My heads not caught up.

Hey Sub! Happy 1 year surgiversary to you!!

Wow, 168 lbs!!! That is absolutely amazing! You look fantastic!

You are a huge source of inspiration for me. You have had a lot going on in your life, but have always worked to find time to take care of yourself and others.

Thanks for all your tips and all the support you have offered on and off this site.

Congrats on such a successful year!
Lindsey

Thank you Lindsey.. you have been supportive of me too.  I just totally love you.  What I love is that we can talk about the good and bad and not pretend everything is rainbows and unicorns.  There are lots of good things but sometimes these changes are tough!  I have enjoyed being able to share with you the tough times and having you to commiserate with.  Hugs..

Congratulations on a life changing year.   I've followed your path since you had surgery the month before me and with the same surgeon.  I have learned a lot about under eating and planning my food for the day from you.  I am fortunate that I do not have hunger as you have; I just have to deal with head hunger.

I want to thank you for sharing so much info with this site.  You have been so supportive and helpful to so many here.    I can sympathize with you about the cheese and almonds.  I love them too.

Your goal is getting closer, that's so exciting.  and your pictures; what a difference.  I can see why your neighbor thought you were a different person.
