Scared Mammogram - I have good news and not so good news
Secondly I wanted to share with you that every time I have had a mammogram, they ALWAYS have me do additional views, and also sonograms. When there is density in breasts they call that calcifications and basically it means that it is hard for them to see everything clearly because they are dense (or fatty). It is completely common for them to ask for additional views so they can make sure everything is ok in there. It is really scary but try not to worry - it will only make you more anxious. I hope that you are ok and wish you all the best.
Sadly my mom (who is 70) was just diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer and she had a lumpectomy a few weeks ago. She will soon need chemo and radiation. It stinks to have a parent or loved one have to go through this, but we all need to think positive and be there for each other.

My mom is ok, a little scared but she doesn't show it. She's a pretty tough cookie - my dad is having a harder time dealing. But we just have to get through it and hope for a quick and full recovery. Thanks for the love sweetie - much appreciate.
