Benefits of being a Slow Loser
Ok so I am almost certain that I am one of the slowest losers on OH. For those of us who are challenged in the Loss Dept I thought I would start a list of the BENEFITS of Slow Weight Loss (there has to be some, plus it will make me feel better).
- Less saggy skin
- slower hair loss (unproven but I am desperate)
- You can fake like you DID NOT have surgery
- You have more time to save money to replace your clothes
- We make the FAST losers feel good (no really a benefit, maybe its a good deed)
Can you think of any other benefits???

I think in my case, I didn't drastically limit calories or carbs. I don't think I slowed my metablolism down as much as I would have if I had lost faster on a more restricted diet. The benefit of this comes in when it is maintenance time even if it takes a thousand years to get there.
I have "enjoyed" all of the benefits you listed also!

"Me agreeing with you doesn't preclude you from being a deviant."
I hear ya Sistah! I've considered myself a slow, but steady loser. Today marks 8 months for me. Last month, I only dropped 3 lbs (more like 9 lbs if you count gaining and losing the same lbs a couple times)
No other way to say it.........pretty much......it just ****** me off!!
I like your outlook....positive in everything right!! Especially being able to fake like we didn't have surgery. Love it!!
