Thanks for taking the time to write a bit about your 10 months - it's valuable to us newbies. I am getting sleeved in a week and can't wait to get started!

Hey SS! I was there right behind you for surgery. You look amazing! So very proud of you! I haven't changed my ticker but hit a 100 a few weeks back. I need to mark that date on the ticker.
I have really stayed away from the carbs like that  but have had my stalls. I just roll with it. Any number less than where I started is amazing. I still focus on dense meat and veggies and that is all I can physically eat. I stay low carb on the veggies when possible but any that I eat is better than all that bread, rice, and potatoes, and junk food....and geeezzz the sodas...how could I leave that out. I never drink sodas and never have wanted them since surgery. You are so right about the addiction part. I have seen clearly how addicted to carbs I was the farther I have gotten from surgery.  It really is amazing. I can say that I do enjoy shopping bit now. I have had a variety of sizes in my closet since shorts season has been in..I have gone from a 16 to a 10 in that time.
I like not having tons of clothes in my closet. I can choose from a few  and I am happy with that.
I have been working out like a mad woman and love it. It has changed me so much...most appreciated the mental changes. It has tested me, brought me to the mountain and climbed it. I can push my way through it all now.  I am going to be a better me every time I go.
Hooray for you!!
Keep it up.

Wow, you look fantastic!  Thanks for the tips!  I'm having my surgery next Friday the 12th, so it's nice to see pics of what I can look forward to.  :o)  Congrats on your success!

I'm doing this not only for myself, but for my husband and two wonderful children.  I need to be around to watch them grow up!
