You and I were sleeved on the same day, and I too have gained two pounds this week. I think it's just part of the process. We lose, we stall, we bounce up and down a bit. I think it's normal.

Go to that OA meeting and dump, you'll feel better for it!

Keep in mind though, you may know this- if so cool, but maybe others don't:

If you were strict low carb, and you deviate a decent amount up from your norm carb intake you will gain WATER overnight.. it is water weight and not a true gain, and will fall off within days after going back to your normal low carb ways.. so don't let that bit mess with your head!! It does however trigger the carb cravings and blues.. so some of the mood may be from that uptick in carb intake too!

Thank you for posting this - I can soooo relate!  Sadly my 6 month blues ha**** 2 months early.  It's unnerving because up until now losing wieght has been so easy and my food issues haven't really come up.  But after breaking up with my boyfriend a few weeks ago my old food-related issues are bubbling to the surface and I'm filled with doubt and craving carbs to sooth myself.  It's been scary! I'm working through it and dealing wiht my issues at the core with a therapist.  It blows my mind how twisted my relationship with food can be.

I love this board and reading that other's are having similar struggles and have strategies to get through them.

As long as we don't get defeated by carbs or the scale and get back on the program we're going to be successful.

I've been reading a book that I've found super helpful to help me understand my food history and how to over come carb cravings.  It's called The 10 Thin Commandments:

My weight loss has slowed very much at the 6 months mark. By A LOT. There are a lot of things I factor in, my TT, much lower body weight… and I can promise you the size of my sleeve would put most to shame, I will admit I in no way wanted a tiny sleeve. My doctor will not even discuss the size of a bougie for the very reason you stated. He simply says its a tool that drs use to create your sleeve and you should be following your plan regardless. My doctor removes 60 percent, most removed 85 or 90 percent. At almost 7 months I can still only eat maybe 2oz. Then again I do not do the eat slow over a long period thing as soon as I feel full I toss whats left and bounce. I also always drink a full bottle of water before a meal which seems to help me eat less.  My weight also has a 3 pound range. Depending on sodium and water intake and retention. I am bouncing between 147 and 149 of course Id rather see 147 but weight will always fluctuate. I always give it a few days, if it stays at the higher end I get a lil more strict but for me its usually a salt issue. I wouldnt freak out. I agree when you find yourself slipping you have to get on top of **** but don't  feel like your doomed because of sleeve size. You can do it…

Thanks... I needed to hear this.  Right now in this very moment I feel hopeful.
Your attitude of awareness, understanding, and acceptance is what I want.
I have no clue why i got the 6 month blues so bad.  Today I feel hopeful.  I am sipping
in my RTD and going to do some head work reading and writing from my sponsor in
OA.  Today I want to stay busy. When I am home my thinker runs wild.  You say, I can do it!
I will take this....  yes i can do it!   thanks for the reminder...    and your right... knowing
the size of my sleeve compare to others messes with my head....  i gotta get over this!

Keep your chin up, Doc!! I'm sure it is just because of eating something that has not been your "norm" for so long, that it threw you off whack for a little bit. Girl, look how far you have come! You look AMAZING!! You are a success story, and will continue to be!
I think the "6 month honeymoon" is just all in your head. You have been told that, and so you are worried that you are done! Push that thought out of your mind! Of course things are going to slow down, because you are so close to goal. But you are not done! Keep putting one foot in front of the other and you will get through this!
