One month until surgery, so many mixed emotions

I was 100% positive before I got the ok from insurance.  Now my head is spinning with all the what if's.  Is this normal?  I want to go back to be 100% positive.  I'm still 80% positive but I like 100% better.  

From what I've read, this is very common.  I am pre op too (my surgery date is 10-12-11) and I had the same reaction.  When I got the call from my surgeon that I was approved, I was so excited, mixed with nerviousness and downright scared.  When I start feeling scared now, I just keep reminding myself why I want the surgery.  I have even written it all down so I can re-read it and add new things to it.  I know as my WLS date nears I will be nervious (I am a natural worry-wart) so I want to have my reminders near. 

That is a great idea.  I'm going to do that.  I have some of it written down in "my story" part of the website...  I felt the exact same way.   Excited, nervous and scared to death.

I feel the same way. I am scheduled for 9/12/11. I just try to focus on the end goal of being healthy again and the fear and other thoughts tend to go away,
