Trying to pull this info off OHs health tracker.. FUN
1st month: 23 pounds
2nd month: 13 pounds
3rd month: 12 pounds
4th month: 11 pounds
5th month: 8 pounds
6th month: 14 pounds (TT was part of that loss)
7th month: 4 pounds (so far ends on the 27th of the month)
Goal was 150…. then 145… now I am hoping to settle between 144 and 147 daily. I want to be realistic and don't want to live on a crazy ass strict diet. Right now I am losing a lil without trying at all and if that continues Ill up calories until that subsides. I was relatively low carb during my weight loss phase but did allow myself just about everything here and there in small portions. Id say 95 percent of the time I ate only protein as thats all I had room for. I now eat pretty normal and a lil weight is still coming off. For example today I had:
Breakfast: Protein Shake and 23oz water
Lunch: half a ham (2 slices) and turkey (1 slice) sandwich with cheese and mayo on one slice of toasted wheat bread with the crust cut off after drinking another 23 oz of water
Snack: 2 whole wheat ritz with 2 cheddar cheese curds (never did snacks during WL phase)
I will have another 23 oz bottle of water before dinner and will probably have boneless skinless chicken and some cheese

Just to show that weight loss can vary, even if you are 100% on plan:
My losses so far:
mo1 10.7 (had my big drop pre-op)
mo2 11.4
mo3 11.5
mo4 8.4
mo5 is shaping up to be less than mo4...
I have been consistent with my intake goals: 600-800 cals (usually high 6's to low 7's) around 20g carbs, and 70+ protein.. and the weight loss is slowing, at least at the moment. I have had weeks of no losses, and weeks of a gain (water).. but overall, the trend is obviously downwards which is exactly what I expect. I am just past my half-way point, including weight lost before surgery.. It's not a magic wand, but it sure is a huge helping hand.

Surgery date Oct 11 2010 -250 lbs
about 10 months post op I'm down 74 lbs
Went from a size 18/20 down to 10/12
I suppose I am a slow loser but that's OK with me as long as the scale goes in the right direction. I can also go weeks, sometimes months without a loss..... but find that my clothes are loser and I need a smaller size
I "try" not to focus on the scale to much ;) although it can be hard to not want to peek everyday.
Also I am not very low carb, I eat lots of fruits and veggies.... after my protein of course, but I just cant seem to stick to under 20-30 carbs a day. I LOVE to eat grapes and cherries....so maybe that's why I'm a slow loser......but I'm still losing!

First of all, let me say that I have been super strict about sticking with my surgeon's program. I started out slow with exercise, but have gradually built it up to 45 minutes if not every day then every other day. I will have a very small treat every once in a while so I'm not depriving myself. I have recently noticed that my weightloss is slowing down. I knew that was coming :/
