So I got my case of the strawberry which I heard is not the best..and I can actually stomach it. Wondering where I will find these...I ordered this on amazon, but it was a bit expensive...do u know where else they were sold?

Also (I just want to clarify that I have not been  my educational sleeve class yet) Will I be able to drink these after I get out of the hospital, or are you on clear liquids for a while after surgery??

You can buy them at a GNC store. I can tolerate the chocolate only...lol.

Most (but not all) Docs have you on clear liquids at first then you switch to full liquids. You will find out what your surgeon recommends at the class I suppose.

Good luck :)

I also like the Pure Bar the best and I buy them at Krogers.  I also been told that Target sales them.  Krogers has them on sale for a $1.00 about every six weeks.

You can get it at Costco if you have one of those where you live.  As far as drinking them straight out of the hospital....the only thing I can say is follow what your doc tells you.

There are other protein drinks that are more diluted and easier to handle I would think straight out of surgery.

I have tried Isopure Plus (not regular Isopure...that stuff is nasty) and its pretty good.

Again, just go with what your doc says....but for the long run Pure Protein ain't bad.  I like it.  They are whey based, low in carbs/fat, and taste pretty decent (imo) for protein shakes.

Here's the trick...search on amazon for amazon mom. You sign up (even if not a mom) and u get prime membership for free for a year so u get free shipping.

Then when u order shakes use subscribe and save option. U can cancel or delay etc but u get a better deal.

I end up paying $20 for a 12pack. It ends up being $1.74 per shake I think. It is way better than anywhere else I have found. Let me know if you need any help setting this up.
