FAMILY DR.
Hi All,
I went to my family Dr. yesterday. I had not been to see her since my surgery (my bad). My goodness the nurses went nuts telling me how good I looked. I mean they were excited. Then the Dr. came in my room, with a big smile, She was very excited also. Told me I looked like my oldest daughter now, that daughter is the one that didn't want me to have surgery, she seems find with the surgery now, got me working out and always telling me you can do it Mom , wants to make sure I have my protein and water. She lives in GA and I live WV, so far away from my Grand kids. Anyway I told my Dr. how much I love my sleeve. If any of her patients were thinking about the sleeve, if they want they can call me. My Dr. wanted to see were I was cut from the surgery and I had to really look to find the cut places, I know I never found them all.
lol I have not heard anything from the blood yet, no news, is good news. When I went to get up out of my chair and off the table, the Dr said you sure are moving around a lot better. I know it sounds like I am bragging, just happy. When I can found out how to get pic's on here I will post them. I tried for about 2 hrs sat. to put some pictures on, nope.

Congrats! That is fantastic!! I am SO glad your daughter is being supportive. That must be a huge weight off your shoulders.
When I went to see my primary doc he was excited about my weight loss, as well. He was a big supporter of it and helped convince my insurance company to approve it.

That is great, Evie!! I have been wanting to ask how your family was taking things lately, but I know you have been very distracted with the death in the family. So happy your daughter is coming around. I guess daughters are just like moms. My mom was supportive, but hesitant because of the risks. Now that most of the risks are behind us, they can breathe a sigh of relief and be happy for us!
That would be great if you could talk to patients who need/want VSG. Think of the impact you could have on the health of your community!
