It's been awhile since i did pureed but I can say......baby food as the last resort!!!Nasty stuff!

How about----yogurt, applesauce, refried beans, soups put thru the blender, ricotta bake
(eggface recipe).  Lots of suggestions here----

I still don't do much lettuce. It just doesn't sit well for me.  Go slow on that.

most of your meat dinners, I brought my baby up on real food just pureed it all and he is a great little eater and loves meat, I know when I was trying his food it wasn't too bad at all. Now I don't know what baby jar food is like and during the mushie stage we do want to try and get most of our protein in from real foods. I think the eggface webpage gives good mushie food ideas.

I'm on purees and made myself up a whole batch of yummy little chicken meals last nihgt.  I used boneless, skinlless tenderloins (they were expensive but actually very cheap per meal).  I cooked  a few of each with these sauces, 1. Hoisen (Asian sauce) 2. Peaches (just a touch of oil and the tinned peaches) 3.Olive tapanade 4.a green herb sauce I brought (like a pesto without nuts).  I will blend approx 1 ounce of one of these chicken pieces with something like ricotta or cottage cheese or plain yogert.  Basically becomes a delicious favoursome dip!  You could do the same sort of thing with any meat.  Had the hoisen with ricotta today - so delicious!

I'm still full liquids.  I went to Chili's today with my husband.  I didn't order anything.  The waitress drove me nuts wanting to know why I wasn't eating.... I finally told her that I had surgery on my stomach a week ago and couldnt eat anything yet.... She asked me if it was WLS... I said yes.  She says I want to show something.... She comes from the kitchen with a small cantainer of something that didn't look very good but smelled heavenly.  She had taken some of their  Chicken Enchillas soup, added some extra sauce and chicken broth.  She left out the cheese and tortilla strips.  She had purreed it down to a very runny type cream soup.  It was heavenly..(I tasted and then spit it out).  She had Sleeve surgery about a year ago and understood my situation.  She told me when I go puree stage to come back in and she would make more for me to take home with me afterwards.   I thought that was really nice.   She told me that she has a commercial blender and she purees everything...LOL.... She also told me about eggface.

I lived on Ricotta and  refried beans after my lap band surgery in 08.  I'll probably do that again.

Wow that is awesome to run into a fellow sleeve server!  Most don't have the slightest clue when it comes to what we can eat.

It was refreshing!!  I had lap band in 08 (just revised to sleeve on the 16th) and it got so tiring when I would go out to eat.  They would keep asking " Are you sure you don't want something to drink"..... or " Don't you like the food.... do I need to send it back".... I finally would start my order with telling them I had weight loss surgery and would not be able to drink anything and Would probably  take half my food home with me...... I still got questioned.
I know these people are just doing their job but it can get frustrating at times.  Bless their hearts they just want to help.

Just about anything! LOL think the insides of a ravioli! Sorry you wont be cleared for raw veggies until about 3-6 months out. I did chicken and a vegetable using chicken broth for the liquid part. There are lots of low calorie gravies in packets. Also tuna blended with yogurt and a bit of mayo.
