Just a heads up on something that I experienced- I ate things like chicken, tuna, and black beans pureed.  At the time, I thought they tasted awesome!  The only problem is... the thought of tuna repulses me now!  I used to love it, but having it pureed ruined it for me :(  I can still eat chicken and black beans though...

I didn't eat baby food, because it had such low protein.

I really love pureed steamed cauliflower with a little lactaid, I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray and sea salt and black pepper.  Tasted a lot like super creamy mashed potatoes.

LFMF- Do NOT puree a fried egg...

I pureed a lb. of lean gorund turkey with chicken broth.  I took a little bit out for lunch and dinner and prinkled different sauces/powders in it for flavor- taco seasoning, various asian seasoning packets, etc.  Got me through the purees with little effort- only actually pureed once.  The seasonings are high sodium, but you don't need much.

A friend who had RNY recommends getting frozen turkey meatballs and cooking a few with some spaghetti sauce, then pureeing.
