Must stop snacking!

I have been snacking way too much lately!  As evidenced by my 2 pound gain this week   I have been making great choices and experimenting in the kitchen, I just think too much.  Ugh, oh well.  I don't think I have really gained 2 pounds, I could not have consumed that many extra calories, but it is a wake up call that I need to rein it in!

Are you able to get enough in at mealtime?  Maybe snacking is necessary for you to get all your nutrients in?  I don't really know.  I'm just postulating based on people who say they can only eat 2-3 tablespoons at a time, etc.

Yes,you can gain 2 lbs in a week.. if you are being truely honest with yourself and tracking your calories you can see what is going on.

I logged back into myfitnesspal to get back on track   I hate tracking, but I know I must do it.  The only reason I don't think I "really gained it" was that it was pretty much over 2 days, and I wasn't off track from the usual and have been exercising 45-60 minutes everyday.  But maybe all the extra snacks, although they were protein and nutrient dense, caught up to me.

Live and learn, what else can you do.

I still track and I am over 2 years out.  Why you ask?  Well, because for me, in my heaviness, I developed, NAY HONED!!, an amazing food amnestic skill.

So, for me, tracking is like - balancing my checkbook.  When folks mention balancing a checkbook other people think its reasonable.  Its amuzing how many folks think if you still or if you do track then you must be "obsessive" or some kind of "nazi" but for some of us?  Its nothing except an excellent tool to help you know if you have paid the mortgage, lectricity, and water, and now you have a little left over for some new socks!

Anyway, good luck to you girlie. You are rocking it and you know what your body runs best on.

BE sweet to you!
