Salad???

I was also sleeved 6/27 (9 weeks out today). My surgeon cleared me for salads at 1mo post-op, when he moved me from mushies to regular food. He OK'd berries, tomatoes, etc... everything except grapes and celery.

I don't have room for much, but do regularly sneak bites of salad, tomatoes, grilled or roasted veggies... if it grows I've eaten it.

I would stick with what your surgeon recommends, and go slow, but I've been just fine. My sleeve loves everything except eggs.

Salads, along with chugging icy cold water, are probably my biggest fears about losing after surgery.  I truly love a good, crunchy salad and ice water.  I'll be so sad if my  body doesn't tolerate them when I'm approved to try.
HW 263, 3lbs lost prior to surgery,  weight loss ticker is since surgery.

I was making small salads - chopped spinach, tomato, avo, pepper, onion, etc.  with a couple ounces of leftover meat toward the end of the first month. My doc's plan doesn't cover salad specifically, but covers it under the general advice of experimenting with small quantities of new foods one at a time to see what's tolerated. They were having me add some veg to the diet at the 10 day mark since I was getting in more than the requisite amount of protein.
