UHC-State of GA Health Plan (Eliminating WLS)

Hi, I have Georgia Cigna Open Access plan. It does cover the sleeve and they were easy to deal with. The PPO plan also covers it, but Im not sure about the HMO plan. Hope this helps you. Cigna also has a 6 month supervised diet.

 Whether or not a certain insurance company covers procedures is dependent on the group you are in who is contracting with the insurance company to administer your plan.  You could be on UHC insurance and still have WLS coverage.  It is the State of Georgia that is changing things, not UHC.  If you don't work for the State of Georgia, no worries.
