I suggest you put a call into your surgeons office and ask for a script for a PPI  so that your not having to suffer from the acid, its something that is common early out from the sleeve,,, some people have to stay on one permently but others can get off it after awhile.

good luck

edit to add, in the mean time go to walmart and get an over the counter proslec til you can get ahold if him after the long weekend.

Most all surgeons have their patient's on a PPI post op. You can buy them over the counter, Prevacid, Prilosec...etc. ...I'd be in a world of trouble without mine..

Mine either......I am 8 weeks out and still have alot of gurgling and burping and feeling it go down and I really think it has gotten worse instead of better.  I take nexium but I may need to try something else.  It happens when I drink or eat (which is not that much at all, maybe 1-2 tbs of something a day).....better a little with the milk and protein drink though.  good luck, hope yours gets better soon.

They sent me home with Pepcid.  Ask your doctor for something.
My GF had the same issue. They forgot to prescribe her pepcid
and she had a hard time the first couple of weeks until she got something.
They only kept me on it for about 3 months I think.   yeah   3 months..
Now I dont take anything.  However when i eat that extra bite or certain foods
and my esophagus wants to start and act up..i stop and dont eat what I ate
or to the fullness..   I think it is more what I eat.   So most of the time I am ok.

Call your doctor to get something
