18 days out can eat 2 eggs - Is it normal?
At 7 weeks out I will sometomes make a fried or scrambled egg with a little cheese... I generally can not fini**** I am 2-3oz, depending on the food and my tummy... and that is the limit for me... unless I do slider foods. Every now and then I will do some healthy slider stuff, like cream soup, just to get the calories in. I have also learned that things like crackers, pretzels, cookies, go down WAY to easy... I stay far, far away :-)
Good luck!!! (listen to Frisco... he's been straight with me before too... he's good!)

Everyone's sleeve capacity is different. You cannot compare what you eat with what other's are eating. What you should be doing to insure your success with the sleeve is follow a prescribed regimen.
Here is the eating plan my doctor gave me. I stuck to this plan and lost 100% of my excess weight.
It wasn't hard but I did stay focused and changed my poor eating habits in the process.
1. Eat 600-800 calories per day when losing weight and 1,200 calories to maintain
2. Limit carbs to less than 40 grams per day
3. Eat 70-100 gram of protein daily
4. Minimum 64 oz. liquids daily
5. Regular exercise/physical activity
6. Track what you eat ( I use myfitnesspal.com to track calories, carbs, protein, etc.)
Eggs are a soft protein. You will be able to eat more soft proteins than dense proteins like steak and seafood.
Best of luck,
George

Im following my doctors orders, so Im not worried. I asked the doctor at my appointment today about the fact that I can eat two eggs and he said thats perfectly normal for how far out I am. I am going to quit posting for a while and let my sleeve do its thing. It seems every one wants to bite my head off and tell me im doing things wrong when Im following the doctors orders to the tee. I'll give you guys that have faith in me updates as I progress toward my goal, but I am not happy with the negativity even though Im sure intentions are meant to be helpful. Thanks guys.
I didn't see anyone being negative - just speaking the truth.
You asked a question and people responded....and said that no....in most cases people are not able to eat even close to that amount after 3 weeks. Just because no one said...yeah its normal....its negative?
Face it....your doc gave you a huge sleeve and has you eating much more than most people at that stage. You're still going to lose weight! It's still gonna rock! Just needs a lot more "work" on your end. I hope you come back and show us your results!
Good luck!

I also love reading your posts. You have such a great sense of humor about things. I hope you will continue to come back.
I believe everyone has been sincere in wanting to help you. In the end you have to do what makes sense to you, but hearing other opinions hopefully will not hurt either, right? So long as you do not let anything impede your progress.

Maybe since you can eat more you might consider substituting one of the eggs for an egg beater to save some calories. But because you are a man, you can probably eat more and still lose just fine. If you find yourself stalling as you get further out, you can make substitutions like that to help move things along again. You may have to eat more chicken, fish and turkey since they have less calories per ounce. And fill up on veggies too. Of course, I mean when you are further out. Good luck to you. If I can ever help you out please PM me. I am 2 years and 8 months out.

I think you got to follow your eating plan, and not get so hooked up on the size of your sleeve its made and its yours... now all you got to do is figure out what its likes and dislikes are.
being that your male i dont think your going to have alot of problems losing weight most males seem to have it fall off pretty fast.
focuss on getting in all your protein and fluids and just eating til satisfied and i think youll do ok.
please dont run away there is probably others out there that are doing exactly as you are doing too.
your dr said what your doing is fine and your not doing anything wrong so thats what counts.. just keep on keeping on.
coming from someone that gained weight on a 32f ... its about choices and lifestyle changes... so follow through with those and i think youll be fine...

Hey there,
I can see where everyone is coming from. If they see you eating these amounts at not even three weeks out. (Doc's recommendations). What will you be eating at 3 years out. I also have a 42F Bougie and now 2 eggs fill me!!..It took a long while to get here. Doctor may think its fine!! But, is he thinking of dollar signs and wanting you back to tighten the ole tool up (;..At 3 weeks out you're not totally healed either, so lets hope there isn't too much pressure to make the staple line to form a leak!..Just my two cents worth.
Take care!!
