okay then...work related..
I went back to work after 2 weeks. I work in a hardware store where I mix paint, 1 and 5 gal buckets of paint. I had someone lift the large pails for me for a couple more weeks tho. Definitely stick with the "light" end of your patients for a while.

wow, thats not much time off my surgeon gave me 3 months off , im a NICU nurse, he had given me 2 months originally, but i didnt feel ready so asked for 1 more month, Maybe you can just ask him for more time, i dont see why you cant have it off, I wasnt ready at 2 weeks to go back, i was tiring easily and my stamina just wasnt there. Any way good luck :)

I am also an RN, I work in ER and my DR only gave me 3 weeks. I told him the same thing. I have had to pick pts off the floor, out of their car, deliver babies, not to mention CPR and anything else that is thrown in. But he seems to think it wont be a problem. I will have to wait and see what happens. Good luck to you!
