I am having bad hip pain and numbing in my right leg. I am down 54 lbs since my surgery in April and I can't excerise the last couple weeks due to pain. They say I have bursitis but the meds arent helping. Not sure if my body needs to be readjusted due to weight loss or if there is a vitiamin I should be taking. Someone help me!!

Me too, but the left hip and leg.  I know that I have sciatica like crazy. A couple of people told me that something has shifted with the weightloss. I don't know if now the sciatica is causing the hip pain and lower leg tingling/numbing or if it is a different issue.  I missed two workouts.

Good luck.

Well a trip to a good chiropracter would answer the question for you. If it still bothers you should probably call your PCP. Been there, done that.

Sounds like compressed nerve. I had a decompression at L4/5 without hardware or fusion. I have no pain today These were my symptoms. I would see a neuro over a orthopedic they'll look for nerve vs bones. Plus I had 2 orthopedics missdiagnose.

Saw a chiro he said I had burstis and put me on steriods. But the pain has gotten worse since. Went to urgent care tonight they said I have a herniate disk. I am out of town for the next two weeks and I am away from my surgeon. I think I will go seeks a chiro until I get back home and see where my pain is. I have heard people have shifts and your body structure just changing around with rapid weight loss. SO I hope once I get down to my goal weight all my issues will go away. I have had many complications from day one so I take extra precaution because I almost died from a bleed. Sometimes I think I am being a hypocondrate but I am def in awful pain. Just want answers like always. Thanks for the suggestions!! First time on the forum wish I would have been on here since day one. Love to know people having issues also.

For years prior to surgery I had so much pain in my legs - joints and bones; I stumbled across an article on magnesium deficiency and began taking large max dose +, it took several months but pain gradually eased.  Added benefit, more relaxed chilled feeling and drop in bp.  Magnesium is amazing, it benefits our bodies in numerous ways!  Google magnesium deficiency symptoms.  Hope this helps.
