Fawn, I started on the Proferrin a couple of weeks ago because my ferritin has fallen in the last 2 years from 68 to 49 and now to 20.  Of course my Doc doesn't think anything of it, but at the rate it's dropping, it'll be down to 5 in no time.  I've been referred to a rheumatologist for a high ANA and have all the symptoms of an autoimmune disorder so we shall see if the low ferritin ties into this.  I'm so sick of shedding hair...

Me too! I have never, ever right after my sleeve, lost handfuls, but it has been shedding ever since.. I hate it almost as much as being tired all the time, lol..

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

Mine dropped ten points after a tt and bl i had several years ago.  It was a ***** bringing it back up again. i even had to cancel another surgery I'd planned for 4 months later.

I started taking the proferrin about a month ago because my iron was really low and the regular iron wasn't bringing it up enough.  I won't have blood tested until November, but I'm really hoping to see the iron level come up.

Plus I really liked the fact that proferrin doesn't have all the restrictions on when you take it!
