Time to get new workout shoes, any advice?

I LOVE Ryka Revive. They are $50 or less online. They were written up in a fitness mag and they totally lived up to the review. They are very lightweight and had no "break-in" period. I agree with pp about Zappos. You can try several and return the ones you don't like for free.

 If you're not running now, don't buy a running shoe.  If you're doing floor aerobics, or lifting weights, you need to go with a good cross trainer.  A running shoe does not support lateral movement, only heel toe movement.  

Also, if you're working out 5-6 days a week, I wouldn't expect your shoes to last a year.  They break down every 6-9 months.
