Frisco-**2 Years-Long Post-Pics and Swagger**
Wow, what an amazing story. Today is my one year anniversary. I was sooooo lucky to have Dr. Cirangle for my surgeon. I did almost NO research. Never went to a support group or meeting. I had a friend who went to Dr Jossart and did so well that I was jealous. I called LAPSF and ended up (luckily) with Dr. C. He was brutally honest with me, discussed all the procedures and told me insurance probably wouldn't pay. I took out two credit cards to pay for it, had my psych evaluation and scheduled my surgery. I did check his credentials and was very impressed. But I was so fortunate to have such a caring Dr. help me achieve what I wanted most in the world---to get rid of my excess weight and feel normal, valuable and good about myself. I experienced one short stall--lasted about two weeks. I called and emailed him and he got me through it. He told me not to stress and to take up a hobby. I started Yoga classes and am totally addicted. I wrote down everything, weighed all my food and exercised everyday. I can't even express the happiness that I feel. I am the person that was hiding under all that fat! My BMI is 21, I weigh between 115 and 118 and wear a size 4 petite. People always tell me how tiny I am. I just smile inside and think about all the mean things people said to me growing up fat. You are full of wisdom. If I could say anything to anyone about this surgery is to find a great surgeon who knows how to perform a VGS correctly and who has a proven follow up program. Finding someone who is passionate about what they do also helps.

As much as I love your food photos and recipes I love this food for thought even more. Thanks for sharing your journey with all of us and pointing out the obvious and the not so obvious.

Frisco, you got it going on. What can I say, that I haven't said to you before? You are an inspiration to pre-op, new folks and us older vets. You get the process, have lived the process and are now teaching others to achieve their goals. You are the real deal and I hope everyone here reads and follows every word you wrote. It can only do them good. Thank you for this honest and real post.
OMG You are such an inspiration. I am so glad you tell it like it is - some people would never wake up otherwise. I am like you comitted, and honest to a fault. I stick to my plan, go to support meetings, read my OH dailey and learn from you & other vets on this site. Love the advice about eat till satisfied not full. I wish I could convey my thoughts as well as you, but please don't disappear - we all love you.
Hello Frisco,
It was pretty motivating reading your post. Congratulations on your success, I believe you will reach your three to five year annivarsary and still be as successful as you are. I do have a questions, can you tell me what is the LapSF plan ? Or how could I get more information on it?
Thanks,
Santos

Here is the LapSF plan. Even though the date is a few years old, this is the version that Dr. Cirangle gave me in the spring of 2010. Frisco, you are the bomb !!
