what a difference a day and some pain meds make.

so after night #2 at home full of tossing and turning and pain, i finally sucked it up and took some more disgusting tasting loritab this morning (only  my 2nd dose since coming home) and feel sooo much better.  even ventured outside with the husband to take a walk.  surgery was last thursday so hopefully i'm on the way up. 

That liquid lortab is nasty.  I mixed it with Crystal light and different kinds of juices to mask the flavor.  Not perfect, but better that drinking it straight.

Agreed ~ Lortab liquid is horrid. They gave it to me in the hospital the day after my surgery (after removing the morphine pump) and I took one sip & promptly spit it back up. They urged me to fini**** as it was going to be the only pain med I would be allowed, and I told them I would just throw it back up if I tried. Turned out I really didn't need any more pain meds, anyway. Truthfully, I really didn't need the morphine, but I used it 'cuz I loved the way I drifted off to dreamland so easily.
