Paige, you're not a slow loser. I would say you're right on track, losing at about the same rate as most people who've had the sleeve surgery.

How fast did you expect to lose?

well....I know after a month or so, this is average. I just know some people lose a ton in the first month....

Well, everyone is different, but it seems to me that most of the people who lose a really large amount are either men or extremely obese people (50+ BMI).

For a woman who wasn't that terribly big to begin with, I think you're doing very well.

It's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not.

Two humble suggestions Paige.

1) Do not give in to scale envy...trust any guy the comparison thing will drive you nuts. :)

2) Gonna start a big debate with this one. Stop weighing yourself daily! Want to see bigger losses? Weigh once a week. Here's why: .5lbs a day or 3.5lbs a week....which would you get more excited about? Rationally neither should be more exciting, realistically we like to see bigger numbers in the negative column

You're going great. Stick to your program and you'll be looking back with a huge smile and thin waist.
