how long is the surgery

mine ended up being about 3 1/2 hours, because the surgeon was surprised by two hernias when he went in.  So, I got a sleeve and two hernia repairs, and still went back to work a week later  :)

Doc said it was about 3 hours in the OR.  But, I had a tough time in recovery (couldn't get pain controlled) and ended up in the recovery room for an additional 4 hours.  I wasn't back in my room until 3pm (got to the OR just before 8am).
