shopping in my closet.
was pleasantly surprised to comfortably fit into some shirts/sweatshirts that have been in my closet with tags on for years... some are still a little tight in the arms but is nice to not have to buy a lot of new clothes!
also, donating another bag of too big clothes today. :) wore my size 22 pants today and they fit very comfortably, even a little too big (down from a 24). husband said in the new outfit could really tell i lost weight. confidence is growing!
on another note, question regardng weight loss? i've been stuck at the same weight for the past week. the first week after surgery i lost 15 pounds, and then - .4 at the most. anyone have this happen? just surprised since i thought the majority of loss happens the first few weeks. trying to up my liquids and protein intake (start pureed foods on thursday) and i'm sure it'll change soon, just frustrating!
I am down 8.5 inches since surgery 9/29 and 15.5 since my pre op liquid diet 9/8. happy with inches, but confused by weight loss. :)

I was a step loser. I would lose weight, then inches, weight, then inches. Once I realize this, I worked "with" it. When I knew I was in the losing stage of the steps, I learned to really work hard to stay on track during that time. It worked like a charm.
Good luck figuring out your losing patern, and I suggest you work with it.
All the best,
Cindy

I was sleeved on tues. My nut came to see me on wed. She let me know the first 2 wks, through the liquids, I could lose 10-20 lbs. Then she told me not to be alarmed about the 3rd week if I stalled. It was normal after introducing some foods back into the diet after being on liquids only for 2 wks.
So, chin up, keep following the meal plan and it will come off. You are doing great and congrats!
Have a blessed one,
Susan
