I thought it was just me. I tried to like it too.  I cannot stomach greek yogurt either!!  I always tried plain because the flavored greek yogurt has sooooo much sugar in it and the carbs are very high.  I have wondered how people who count carbs handle that.  Flavored greek yogurt has more that 20 carbs in the brand I have looked at.  I figured carb counters must not be eating it?
I like calling North Carolina home!!!  Go Tarheels!

I counted carbs and I ate lots of Greek Yogurt immediately post-op (and still do).

FAGE Total 0% Fat has 7 grams of carbs per 6 oz. The flavored yogurts add tons of sugar and should be avoided IMO.

I added a little Equal to my FAGE at first and then farther out I'd put some of my daily fruit serving into it.

I love Fage greek yougurt.  I get the Fage 0% and add my fav jams.  For you carb counters, smuckers makes jams that are half the sugar, @ 5 carbs per tablespoon.  Sometimes I make a cheesecake ( 6 oz of Fage  0%, 1T  1/2 sugar Strawberry Jam and sugar-free cheesecake flavor pudding).

There is another one called Athenos - carbs aren't too bad and I like it. Yes, Dannon and Lucerne both do things to up the carbs. I often turn away from greek yogurt when those are the only two I can find.

I am also a huge Chobani fan but I've been picking up Oikos (Stonyfield organic) lately. I know it'll be a no-no for awhile after surgery because the kind I get has the fruit on the bottom, but I think they also have plain. I'm still learning to read labels but a serving has 13g protein vs 16g carbs.....so I'm not fully sure if it's the healthiest option or not.

I will second the Fage 0 plus 2 tsp of sugar free fat free jello cheesecake pudding mix - excellent!  I am having it for dinner right now.

It does leave me teeth and mouth feeling kind of coated with fuzz, but that is easily solved by brushing my teeth.

Isn't the Chiobani pretty high in carbs?

I'm definitely a Fage 2% girl!!! I have tried others and nothing else compares with the texture, taste, quality and overall nutritional stats. It's soooo worth the extra cost and effort to find it :)
