QUESTIONS ABOUT PLASTIC SURGERY?
It depends on what you are having done.
With a tummy tuck there is no lifting for at least 4 weeks, and the recovery is pretty hard. They cut the stomach muscles and sew them up so most people are down for 2 weeks, then start recovering slowly. By 4-5 weeks you should start feeling better, more able to do things.
A breast implant is pretty easy, no lifting for a few weeks but otherwise you can almost go right back to work.
Not sure about the breast lift, again no lifting for a few weeks. Longer recovery than just implants.

I had a breast reduction and tummy tuck five years before wls -- I had lost some weight on Weigh****chers and was, um, hanging, heh heh. I was still 220 pounds, though. Both procedures held up very well through a regain to 265 and my loss down to 150. A year post-wls, I had my bat wings chopped off. After that, I got sick and lost down to 122 and now have regained to 176ish. No change in how the plastics have held up. I love the results!
