Headed to the Gym?

 Well I'm headed to the gym.  Doing 30 min. on the eliptical and then some weights.  What are you doing to move today?

I just got back from the gym. I did 1/2 hour of free weights and core exercises then 45 minutes on the Eliptical.  Now drinking some protein coffee and catching up on email.  I'll spend some time later today taking dog photos for my website and working (from home).  Great to start and get the workout out of the way by 8:30 on a gorgeous Sunday.

 Sounds great.  I climbed Mt. Kiliminjaro via the eliptical today.  Did 30 min on there and then the legs and back workout of P90X.  I actually did P90X at the gym, as I watched it on my ipod touch.  Felt sorta weird running to different areas of the gym but I got a lot of smiles and kudos.  I'm still 249 lbs so it must be some sight.

Tha'ts awesome!Just wait until you're down another 50lbs or so. You'll be amazed.  Things like Planks and bicycle crunches that were nearly impossible 60lbs ago are easy now.  

I watch Neflix on my iPhone while I'm on the Eliptical since my gym just has history channel and political/news talk crap on the TVs (perhaps they've put my husband in charge of programming...).  They used to have Food Network on at least one screen, but the manager decided it was 'counter productive.'   I think that's ridiculous, personally. I've learned a lot of good cooking techniques I've brought to my 'healthy eating' watching food network.  Oh well.  I just pick movies I've seen and can pick up anywhere in the story (Star Trek today, lol).

*jealous*  I've missed going to the gym the past 3 days, and doesn't appear I will be going back this week.  At least while I am still on antibiotics for this stupid staph infection, since I can't stray too far from the bathroom

I'm going to do the 5 mike fat burning walk away the pound DVD, cause I'm just not ready for the gym yet.  It really is a goo workout.  Then hanging Halloween lights and Bring the sewing machine upstairs to shorten new scrubs for work.  Woo Hoo!

I'm going to take a yoga class for the first time!

I've done yoga at home off and on for a while -- you know, every time I go on a diet, but I've always wanted to take a class and haven't been brave enough to go.  Today's the day!  I'm really looking forward to it.  I'm taking the very easiest one and then will work my way up to doing hot yoga eventually.

Good job going to the gym!  I always feel good about myself on days I go to the gym.

I head to th gym early i the morning, before work,. I run anywhere from 2.2 to 2.5 miles on the eliptical, (25 minutes) every other day i got up one level, and ru faster, ive neverbeen  able to run even 1 mile, now i can go 2.5!!! then on saturadays i run 10 minutes level 3-4 levels higher then what i normally run then do strenth traning, id like to do more, but its hard to do he machines when im on a times crunch!
Ive been stalled out all week which kill me bc i eat right, and exersize like crazy!!!

What am I going to move today? Books. Hundreds & hundreds of books.

I had planned to go to the gym this morning, but decided to work on a home project instead. I have two enormous bookshelves -- each is 7' tall, 4' wide, 18" deep -- that need to be cleaned out & reorganized. I've already packed up four large boxes of books & driven them to a local thrift shop (benefits go to the local Child Crisis Center). I will need a few more days to finish, as there are probably 1,000 books or so.

I figured this is probably as much excercise as going to the gym. Unfortunately, my back is screaming.

It's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not.
