Acouple of NSV's
Today has brought a couple of nice things as a result of getting the sleeve. First, I had just gotten size 20W pants a couple of weeks ago. I need petite length and have trouble finding those in 2nd hand shops. Just hemming isn't enough, as the crotch hangs down too. Anyway, I bought a couple of size 18's last night, and I'm wearing a pair today! The other thing, which had already happened a couple of weeks ago, but still surprises me, was that I fit, with room to spare, in one of those one piece restaurant booths! I took a person I'm a case manager for to breakfast to meet a family member. She chose a booth instead of a table and I cringed inside. I used to try to squeeze myself into those booths and I'd be so uncomfortable the whole time. Well, today I slid right in and had several inches to spare in front of me. Iam so grateful for this gift!!!!!

I am so with you on the booths......feels so good now to be able to not worry ahead of time when going out whether the place has booths or tables. Another NSV for me today, I went shopping in a new store and asked the lady if they carry plus sizes. They only have up to XL but she said honey I think they'd fit and I'm saying I don't think so........maybe someday though. Made me feel good that she felt the XL would fit and it probably would have in the shoulders but I like my shirts extra long as I do still have this belly to contend with LOL.
