Submitted to insurance!

Hi friends,

Yesterday I was informed by my advocate that all of my paperwork, pre-op dieting diary, psych profile, etc...has been faxed to CIGNA for approval.  I am sooooo excited to get an answer.  For all those who pray, think of me.  For anyone else with CIGNA who met 6 month pre-op requirements, how long did your approval take?

I have Cigna and from the day they got everything to my approval was 3 days. Good luck, hope it goes quick and easy for you

I am right there with ya. My surgeons office has it all as of yesterday so should be submitting today. I have surgery scheduled for 11-21. I am with CIGNA also. Please let us know how long it takes for your approval to come in

It's so great that you already have a date!  My bariatric center will not offer a date until insurance clears.  18 days to go for you!  Best wishes...

Thanks. Yeah...I am cutting it really close with Cigna though so I am hoping I can make it. If not, I am going to probably have to reschedule for 12/19. UGH, this is the hardest part! My surgeon sent in today so now I am just waiting.
