I am 5 months post op, so my incisions are completely closed up and healed, but I noticed that there is a lump on my incision right above my belly button. Its about the size of a pea... it doesnt hurt when i touch it but im just wondering why its there. And its not under my skin, i have a small lump under all of my incisions but its a visible lump. Has anyone else had this? Im afraid it might be a hernia :(

There's a condition called keloid that can leave a lump under a scar. It is fairly common, but ask your doctor next time you see them.

I am a nurse.  It's seems a bit early for keloid formation but it can happen.  It's more likely to be a small hernia.  Make an appointment with your bariatric surgeon.  God Bless.  PS Hernias are easy to fix and some can be "popped back in" by a surgeon without any surgery.
