Isn't it amazing how fast we go thru the sizes?  My sister had sent down a couple of huge boxes of stuff, but by the time she sent it, it was all way too big - mostly XL/1X.  I ended up giving them to a coworker.  I figured by now you'd be smaller than that.  You've done so great!  Do you look back at pics and not recognizing yourself?  I am amazed at the difference when I look at my old pics.

I bet you are feeling 100 times better than you used to!

My goal was to be a size 12 by Thanksgiving!  I thought I was pushing it.  Now, I want to be a solid 10--I can get 10s on but they are too snug--so definitely by Thanksgiving.  I hoping to be an 9 or 8 by Christmas now, especially, if I continue to lose at around 10-11 lbs a month.  Going on a Christmas cruise the day after Christmas--I want to look good in a bathing suite!!!

I love cruises!  What one you going on?  I'm going on one myself 11/27 (Holland Southern Caribbean).  It will be so much more enjoyable now that you've lost the extra weight.  You won't mind the long walk from one end of the ship to the other!

We are doing a 5 day cruise out of Miami on Carnival Destiny--somewhere in the Bahamas--can you believe I can't remember where?  Maybe US Virgin Islands?  Somewhere that is known for its snorkeling and stingrays.  Ugh--I'm going on another one in February with just my sister and mom and I've looked at so many of the them I can't remember what we chose!  I just know where and when to catch the boat!!

Have a terrific time on your cruise!  Only 2 weeks away!!

I keep thinking about that dreaded mandated emergency evac procedure you have to participate on when you take a cruise with those stairs you have to climb to get to your emergency designated area.  I know this time they will longer leave me catching my breathe and feeling as if I'm going to pass out or throw up for that matter!

I'm not stressing the climb now!  I bet you aren't either!

LOL  I understand about the cruising thing...most of the time I don't know where we are going either.  I don't usually care as long as I'm on the ship.  It could go off the coast and just circle around and that would be fine with me.  It's been a strange few months for us.  We canceled one cruise because of the fire at our other house.  Once we got close to the repairs being completed, we decided the heck with it, we needed the get away and booked another.  Hard to pass up the price $459 per person for 7 nights!  Plus we are going alone (no FIL tagging along).  It will be nice as he's getting to be high maintenance and we have him 24/7 with almost no breaks.

I was about 5 months out from surgery on the last cruise.  I felt incredible compared to previous cruises when I was so heavy.  I did gain 5 lbs on that one, but within 2-3 weeks, I lost 15, which brought me to goal of 140!  I've been maintaining at about 134-135 since June.

I hope you have an awesome time!

Thanks!  He started his diet  and exercise program about a month before I had surgery.  It has definitely helped keep all the bad stuff out of the house for both of us.  He is preparing for the Disney Marathon in January!  Everytime I drive by him running, I yell "Run, Forest, run!"  much to his chagrin

Thank you ! You'll be here sooner than you think! I'm still in the obesity range on the BMI scale and I know I still have quite a lot of weight to lose--however it is so much fun to hit those small milestones such as buying an off the rack halloween custome over the internet and knowing it will fit
