wow.  my bmi started at 52 before the pre op diet and is now 42.  i've aimed to get under 40 for so long and it's just within reach.  have a check up with the surgeon on friday (will be 7 weeks out) and am excited to hear what he has to say.  aside from the intestinal issues, i'm doing ok.  past few days have been rough since i haven't been able to eat/drink my normal amount but hoping that ends tomorrow and i'm back to normal.  it's amazing that i actually look forward  to getting on scales now.  my whole life i've avoided them.  :)

That's great :)  I love seeing the BMI numbers drop.  To go from 52 to 42 is quite the achievement!

That is so awesome!    I know how you feel - I started at a 60.3 (unbelievable) and have dropped to a 42.6 in 5.5 months.  So glad I gave myself this gift!
