Size 12 jeans! Haven't worn these since a teenager!!
I was shopping with my daughter yesterday and picked out some size 12s, which I hadn't seen the inside of since age 16, just to check how much further I had to go to get in these. They fit perfectly, not tight at all. I was so pumped! I got three pairs. I am going to wear one today. I can't tell you how much fun it is to be able to look in the mirror and feel good about myself again. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to have the VSG. No, it is not a magic bullet, or simple but has been much easier than I had expected. You have to work with it, but the payoff is magnificent.
If you stay on program and be honest with yourself about everything you are putting in your mouth, you 'will' reach your goals. I am amazed every day! Won't be long till I reach goal and then I will go on maintenance. My original goal was 100 pounds lost, but I updated that to 124 so that I would be in a normal bmi category.
My results have far surpassed my expectations going into this. I am thinking I will probably have some plastics later, then will be even smaller. Never thought I would see this in my lifetime.
