Cravings... stupid head hunger.. stupid food mourning!
I was at the local grocery store, and they had all of this FANTASTIC holiday candy. I was at the pizza place, and they had awesome dessert pizza. I felt so sad that I couldn't eat it like I used to

The GREAT thing though is that I was able to just bypass the food. If I'm still really craving the new holiday candy, I'll buy it next week, take a few pieces out, and share the rest at work or something. In the old days, I would have just bought the candy then and there, and the dessert pizza, and ate it that night with the hubby.
Every once and a while I am so sad that my relationship with food has changed. However, it had to change sometime, if I wanted a normal, healthy, happy, long life!

I can totally relate!! When I go out to eat with the whole family or they are all over and I've cooked and everyone is enjoying the food I have those same feelings. Temporary feelings of sadness that I can't eat as much as I want to. Hamburgers are my favorite food of all time and I can't even get past 1 or 2 bites and that makes me sad sometimes but then I look at the scales and am so happy I did this. I know as much as I LOVE food I would have never lost weight on my own. And when I get these last 20 or 30 lbs off and weight what I used to I don't think it will bother me as much. It's already better than it was at first. lol Good luck to you.
