some peolpes lives are handed to them on a silver platter. all laid out for them. things happen so easily for them just like theyre supposed to. school, college, job, marriage, kids. and some people have to work so hard and screw up so many things just to figure it all out. when do we know that the present is part of the plan and when we need to take it upon ourselves to make a change? i wish life came with an instruction manual. i would also like a schedule so that i know when things get easier and fall into place...if they do....and how do those lucky people get chosen? why wasnt i chosen? feelin kinda down a lot lately. maybe i should start seeing a couselor?

I'm sorry things are hard for you right now.  If you are thinking about going to see someone to talk to then you should do it.  Sometimes when you have a lot of changes and things going on in your life it is helpful to have someone to talk to who doesn't know you.  I definately found this to be so.  I hope that things get better for you!

No one has an easy life, and yes, if you feel this way, seek a therapist.

Everyone faces struggles and suffering in life.  Those "lucky" people may just handle it with more grace and determination, and less *****ing and complaining.

There's an old saying"The grass may look greener in the other yard but, it still needs to be mowed." We all have challenges and some people's lives may "look" easier  however they may have already overcome many challenges to get there. If life were all easy there would be no challenge or growth. I always used to tell my daughter, nobody ever said life was fair. It all depends on how you deal with it and yes if you truely feel this way on an everyday basis, some counseling would be in order.
