Dear Lord, I am struggling...
I think I am going to initiate counseling post surgery. I was reluctanct pre- surgery due to a constant stream of doctor appointments, but that should settle down in January. I have crawled back on the wagon, lol- great visual for me thank you!
Wow, five meals from one dinner eating out- that will save some money! The hubby and I just chatted about how we can order the exact same meal from 5 Guys, and be able to feed us both and our daughter with some left over still. Of course, I am going to stay away from 5 Guys...

The pre-op diet is practice for the post-op diet. The only differences are the ramifications of cheating post-op. You really should try to stick to the diet, or else post-op is going to be tough. Now here's the tough love part. It seems no one else wants to say it. Five Guys is pretty big f-up. Not only is it a far cry from liquids, but it sounds as if your coach enabled you. You need to make the decision that you CANNOT do it again. All the posts telling you "it's okay" are wrong -- if this was post-op, you could be back in the hospital. Surgery changes you life, but can endanger your life if you can't follow protocol. Make the decision to do it right!
